Practical. I've done the same, though it's a monster-monster bond, and will only remain feasible for a short while. Even so, the connection is jarring. But I doubt that bothers you as much.

I'm not being coy. It's the truth. There are only a handful of Shinra employees who would have access to that information.

[If the notion of Sephiroth never having seen his own file is ridiculous, it's probably because it is. He has seen some form of it, at least, just generalized statistics about himself, his ranking, baseline information about his performance in battle. Blood type, height, that sort of thing. If he spied a date for a birthday in there, too, he won't mention it, because such things are often superfluous.]
